5. Click the measure/update button to the right of the display as shown in Figure 1 and note that

the software will attempt to connect to the SSD. Progress messages will be displayed

(CONNECTING, SENDING, DISCOVER).

6. Click on the “Connect to sensor on program start” checkbox and press the Apply or OK

button to save your settings.

Configuring the Software

Sensor Tab

From this tab you can specify the various settings related to sensor communications and alert

thresholds for your monitored location.

In the screen shot below a Sensorsoft Thermometer is attached to a Lantronix device server in a

remote server room.

Location or Description: This field contains the name of the location where the SSD is located

or a description. This field is enabled for change in the Master instance and is disabled for all

other instances.
